As in all the other Skyriders Centres we rent kite equipment only to riders who can ride upwind.
The required minimum Level is therefore LEVEL 3.

This is for security reasons only. We do not want you to endanger other kite surfers / windsurfers or swimmers.

You can prove your Kitesurfing ability with a recognized certificate (e.g. IKO, Skyriders and VDWS) or with our “Supervising Check Hour “.
Our instructor will decide if your ability covers the needed criteria to rent equipment.

These are the following rental-conditions:

• Physically fit
• Good swimmer
• Able to return to the starting point at all times (going upwind)
• Capable of doing a water start without any problems
• Able to relaunch a 5 line-kite from the water.
• Knowing the rights of way (sailing rules).
