Bay of Roses - THE Windsurf and Kitesurf Spot in Northern Spain 

A spot featuring the Tramuntana wind from the Pyrenees and steady sea breezes in the summer months. The long sandy Bay of Roses, on the Mediterranean coast, only 30 km away south of the French border, has been a favourite spot for windsurfers for decades. 
The Club Mistral and Skyriders Golf de Roses centre, at the southern end of the bay is situated between Sant Pere Pescador and L' Escala. 
The Club Mistral centre is located in the 4-star campsite and bungalow park La Ballena Alegre Costa Brava. The campsite will be the venue for the 14th PWA Worldcup event taking place right beside the club mistral centre.

The Dates of the Worldcup are 12.- 17. June 2012

This year’s Slalom 42 competition will be open to both men and women.
