The Spot
Bay of Roses - THE Windsurf and Kitesurf Spot in Northern Spain
A spot featuring the Tramontana wind from the Pyrenees and steady thermals in the summer months. This huge sandy bay of Roses on the Mediterranean, only 30 km away south of the French border, has been well-known to windsurfers for many years.
The Club Mistral and Skyriders Golf de Roses centre, at the southern end of the bay is situated between Sant Pere Pesacdor and L' Escala.The Club Mistral centre is located in the 4 star camping and bungalow park La Ballena Alegre 2.
The Camping organizes this year for the 10 th time the PWA Worldcup. This year 2008 it is a Slalom 42 discipline for men and women.
