by car

take the highway AP 7 coming from France or Barcelona. Take Exit 5 and follow L' Escala ( 20km after highway exit). Just before arriving in L' Escala take left on the roundabout following signs Sant Marti d'Empuries/ Sant Pere Pescador. Pass the small village Sant Marti d'Empuries and continue another 1.5 km. The Camping la Ballena Alegre 2 is the first one on the right hand side. The Club Mistral /Skyriders Golf de Roses can be seen by the flags from far away.

For parking you have 2 options:

  1. in front of the reception Camping la Ballena Alegre
  2. on the little road leading towards the beach on the right hand side of the bungalows.

by plane

the closest airport is Girona (45 minutes).
Barcelona is a 1.5 hours drive.

by train

You can take the train until Figuers.

public transport

...is not really good. If you don't come by car, we suggest a rental car from the airports or the trainstation in Figueres. There are no public busses which stop close to the camping la Ballena Alegre.
