Known worldwide for its perfect windsurfing conditions, the Golf of Roses Bay is ideal for windsurfers from Beginner to Expert Levels.
The thermal wind blows cross-onshore from the southeast, gradually picking up during the day.
This means that beginners can enjoy the shallow water area with a light breeze in the mornings. Both kids and adults are taught by our motivated, multilingual, certified instructors. Kids can enjoy the first steps of windsurfing and meet new windsurfing friends of their own age; our small teaching groups (maximum 4) means that children can have a lot of fun together, with plenty of attention from our instructors.
As a general ruley you can expect the thermal wind (sea breeze) to pick up from 3 – 5 Bft, and good days can even bring a Force 6.
Intermediate and Advanced Level windsurfers can try out the latest equipment from North Sails,  Fanatic Team Edition and the Mistral.

When the Tramuntana blows, the conditions are slightly different. This wind comes rushing down from the Pyrenees in the north, usually picking up to between a F5 and F8.
The water state also changes, giving you small waves breaking by the beach and perfect Bump and Jump conditions further out.
