We will open our Windsurf and Kitesurf centre on the 23 rd of March 2013 ready for the Easter Holidays.
This year will be our 10th anniversary!
We would like to celebrate this with you from the 18th- 20st May 2013.

Stand up Paddle at Golf de Roses
The Brand Mistral has launched the first Stand Up Paddle Boards to the European market a couple of years ago. Shortly after, a handful of other brands followed with a large selection of di

fferent paddle boards.With the new "M1" (12'6) of Mistral a Paddleboard for racing of the extra class was born. If you have high demands on speed and performance, this is the right board for you.
The other Paddle Board which is available in Club Mistral Golf de Roses, is the “Cross -Over” (10’6), which is suitable for starters.
The Inflatable Allround 11'5'' and the Kid Board 8'6'' are completing the equipment range at Club Mistral Golf de Roses.
The Stand Up Paddle is a sport similar to surfing, the difference is, that you use a paddle to move forward and you are standing on the board.This sport, like most of the other water sports, is coming from Hawaii, where it is practised since the 50 ties. Since a few years already the S.U.P has arrived in Europe and is enjoying since 2010 a big success. However, this is really not surprising. No matter if you head out into flat water or waves, if it’s windy or windless, if you see S.U.P as pure workout or as an relaxing trip over the sea – it’s great fun in any conditions, it trains your body and improves your balance and it can be done by anyone.
We, as Club Mistral Golf de Roses are the pioneers of Stand Up Paddle in Catalunya, because we realized that our spot offers the ideal conditions for its practice. Since 2008 you can rent S.U.P. boards in our centre.
- During the morning (in summer) having light wind conditions, flat water conditions and a wide sandy beach, the spot is ideal to make the first step on the board.
You can paddle towards the beautiful beaches of Sant Marti d’ Empuries, standing on the board above the crystal-clear water.
- In the afternoons the conditions get a bit more tough, as the wind is creating a wind swell, which is making the balance on the board a bit more challenging, however training every muscle of your body! Sometimes the Mediterranean offers small waves just in front of the Club Mistral Golf de Roses, big enough to get a sensation for the surf.

The Fanatic Board Range 2011/2012 consists of the Shark Line and the Hawks LTD. We still have a Skate TE 100 liters 2011.
There are 3 Race/ Slalom Boards for Sale:
Fanatic Falcon 140 liters (2012), Mistral Slalom 137 liters (2012), Mistral Screamer 110 liters (2010). These are real "light wind machines",early planning from 10 knots is possible.
For stronger winds we can offer the Fanatic Freewave 75 (2010) and the New Wave TE 76 (2010) for a really good price. The "Team-Edition" Version is the extra light as full carbon construction.
Last but not least , we propose the AB+ Mistral Boards!!

This hotel has a prime location, right on the beach of Empuries it is one of the only hotels that you can find on the beachfront in the area.

For those who are passionate of Speed, the Club Mistral Golf de Roses has some special toys:
This year for the first time, we have the “Race Corner”, equipped with the latest 2012 Fanatic Falcon 140 liters and the 4 Camber Ram Sails 8.6m², 7.8m², S-Type 8.4m² and 7.8 m² (North). These is the same high performance equipment, which you can see during World Cup Events!
From now on, an early planning experience with 8 knots (3 Bft) is no longer a miracle.
We also equip you with a GPS in order to know your speed –
you might win the 2013 GPS – Contest.
Please note that a minimum level is required to use this equipment (gibe).

Club Mistral Golf de Roses offers a new service to you: Rent the GoPro HD for only 20€.
No matter if you are windsurfing or kitesurfing, we provide all kind of fixing tools for the Go Pro Camera. Fixed on the top of the mast, the front/back of your boom, your kitelines, it will catch fantastic images.
Your session on the water will get unforgettable. After your session
we will transfer the movie on a personalized USB Stick (10 €).
We can even make a short Video of your session ( this extra service has a charge of 15 €)
Stand Up Paddle Excursion
During the mornings, having light wind and flat water next to a wide sandy beach, makes ideal conditions for a Stand Up Paddle Excursion. During the Breakfast Paddle Excursion we take you paddling towards the beautiful beaches of Sant Marti d' Empuries to have breakfast at the Hostal Empuries.
The paddle trip takes between 30 and 45 minutes depending if we go straight or choose to catch little waves on the way.
The breakfast Buffet in the Hostal Empuries doesn't leave you wishing for anything more: Coffee, teas, hot chocolates, all kinds of cakes, croissants, fresh breads, Serrano ham, cheeses, fresh juices, yoghurts, cereals, fruits and more.
After breakfast we paddle back to the Club Mistral Centre with a light thermal breeze in our backs.
The trip starts at 08:30 in the morning at the Club Mistral Centre, and finishes around 11:30-12:00 back at the centre. One of our instructors accompanies the group.
You need
• For participation at the Breakfast Paddle Excursion you need some knowledge in S.U.P. - you may rent equipment before.
• To bring dry clothes, which you will have to wear in the Restaurant of the Hostal Empuries.
• Sunscreen / sunglasses.
